Collaborative Healing

As a therapist, my work centers around freedom and creation: freedom from the past or old patterns of living, and the creation of a life in alignment with what you truly want.

I see Adults, Adolescents, Families, and First Responders in my practice. Most of whom find that past or current traumatic experiences are negatively impacting their lives and want feel better. Therapy is a brave step forward into unknown or forgotten territory, so hesitation is no stranger to the process. Fear is ethically sound; Our brains are wired to feel fear. It’s what you do with it that makes a difference in your life.

Self-exploration and healing takes courage and commitment to one’s self. Research shows the deepest healing happens when you enlist the help of the mind and the body. I’m trained in a few research-based, mind-body therapies, including EMDR (an approach that the Veteran’s Association uses to treat PTSD and trauma with their clients) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Together we will compassionately explore the places that keep you stuck and create new, integrated patterns of being a Whole Human.
